OPI is having a little competition :)

Have you ever seen the shirts OPI gives to their consultants?? Well, I have and their AWESOME! OPI posted on their Facebook page that they are holding a water marbling competition and that the winner gets one of those famed bejeweled t-shirts!! I have recently immersed myself into this little technique, and I have got to say it's a lot of fun! This picture is on the last post, but since I did this today, I wanted to give it a little more attention and possibly notify anyone who didn't know about the competition!

I didn't choose the colors for their common themed names, but sometimes it just works out that way :)

    Your marbeling is beautiful! I tried the technique after watching the OPI video on facebook yesterday and it was a terrible mess.

    The first drop of polish turned into this "skin" that kept the other colors from spreading out even just a little bit, so I had globs of color that I swirled. When I dipped my nail in and pulled it back out, I had blobs of polish...not a smooth look at all.

    Any tips you have would be great!

    Can't wait to see more of your polish pictures. I've been obsessed with nail polish since my freshman year in high school when I finally quit biting my nails!

    I know how you feel about the marbling! And as much as I am 100% obsessed with OPI, I have figured out a slightly different technique for the process. I will post an instructional video as soon as I can! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and the great comment! It really is encouraging!!!
